The production company behind Extraordinary Attorney Woo, an ongoing South Korean drama series and one of the most-watched non-English shows on Netflix, has teamed up with Polygon to build a non-fungible token (NFT) community to advocate for awareness of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

- AIMC, a unit of K-drama production company Astory, said in a statement shared with Forkast that it plans to establish an NFT project called “Extraordinary Whales Club” to engage fans of the show and increase public awareness of ASD.
- The company will also set up a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to raise charity funds to support ASD.
- Extraordinary Attorney Woo tells the story of an autistic lawyer who’s fond of whales and often finds enlightenment from the creatures when she deals with legal cases.
