Polygon-based Alien Cats clawed their way to the top of the non-fungible tokens (NFT) market on Monday, with a sales performance of US$1.32 million, according to CryptoSlam data.

The newly launched NFT sold for US$30,000 per unit but just had 11 unique sellers and buyers each.

The second-highest performing collection of the day was π, a BRC-20 NFT collection, with a total sales volume of US$1.12 million, rising from US$418,754 the previous day.

Ranking third in daily sales was the DMarket collection, which specializes in virtual in-game items and NFTs on the Mythos network.

DMarket achieved a total sales volume of US$579,888 on Monday across 25,480 transactions.

Other notable collections include NodeMonkes and DogeZuki Collection, which ranked fourth and fifth, respectively. NodeMonkes saw a daily sales volume of US$471,749 with 46 transactions, while DogeZuki Collection amassed US$443,920 from a staggering 10,429 transactions.

Both collections demonstrated significant engagement from their communities, with NodeMonkes maintaining a high average price of US$10,255 per NFT and DogeZuki Collection showcasing its mass-market appeal with a lower average price of US$42.57.
