South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted a notice on its website on Wednesday saying the passport belonging to Terraform Labs Pte. Ltd. chief Kwon Do-Hyung, also known as Do Kwon, will be nullified in four weeks if Kwon does not return his passport.

- The foreign affairs ministry reportedly issued Kwon an order to return his passport on Sept. 15, following a request from local prosecutors investigating Terra-LUNA to nullify passports belonging to six Terra associates including Kwon.
- After Kwon did not respond to the return order, the ministry issued an “inability to deliver” notice publicly to Kwon on Wednesday, according to local reports.
- The notice stipulates that Kwon may be limited from renewing his passport from Sept. 15, 2022 to Sept. 13, 2023.
- The notice orders Kwon to return his passport to the ministry, a foreign embassy or to public agencies dealing passports within two weeks from the end of the notice period, which is Oct. 19.
- If the passport is returned to authorities, Kwon will have his passport issued after Sept. 13, 2023. Kwon’s passport will be canceled if it is not returned within the given period of time.
- The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office issued an arrest warrant on Kwon and five others related to the US$60 billion crash of Terra-LUNA on Sept. 14 this year, accompanied by a “red notice” from the Interpol and the request to cancel their passports.
