Unique non-fungible token (NFT) buyers hit an all-time high (ATH) in January with more than 895,000 shoppers, according to data tracker CryptoSlam.

- The number of unique sellers grew by almost 14% from December to January with 741,865 vendors, just 40,000 shy of an ATH set in November.
- January marks the third consecutive month where CryptoSlam’s data tracked over 800,000 unique buyers, indicating growing interest in NFTs while traditional and crypto markets remain volatile.
- Ethereum continues to be the dominant blockchain for NFTs, accounting for US$3.9 billion worth of sales in January, while Solana tallied the second-highest volume at US$190 million.
