Scott Thiel

Scott Thiel is the founder, CEO and “entrepreneur-in-residence” of TOKO, DLA Piper’s subsidiary that has built an enterprise-grade tokenization engine and digital asset management platform. He advises clients on all aspects of tokenization and its application in digital capital markets. Scott was formerly the Asia Head of DLA Piper’s Global Technology and FinTech sector initiative, and was a leader within DLA Piper’s “Blockchain and Digital Assets” practice group. He is also the firm’s representative on the Hedera Hashgraph Governing Council and a non-executive director of the HBAR Foundation and Blockchain Think Lab.
