Edward Chen

Edward Chen is the CEO and executive director of Huobi Singapore, and he was previously Head of Global Market Institution Business for Huobi Group, where he spearheaded Huobi Global’s APAC business operations, including strategic expansion into new markets such as Vietnam. Prior to Huobi, he co-founded a global logistic technology company, which was successfully sold for merger and acquisition. Edward is also an angel investor and deeply vested in the crypto and blockchain space, new energy, and technology advances for transportation. He currently serves as co-chairman of Blockchain Association Singapore and sits on the Institute of Blockchain's advisory board. Edward has a master's degree in the internet of things (IoT) and cybersecurity from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he was ranked in the top 10% of students and served as the vice president of the student union.
