Two years after staking went live and a few months after the completion of the Merge, Ethereum’s “Shanghai upgrade”, which is due to come in March, could offer a boost for liquid staking. Where regular staking allows investors to lock up their crypto to support a network, liquid staking allows for more flexibility and brings proof-of-receipt into play.
