Mark Wetjen is a former U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) commissioner (Democrat) who has also served as its acting chairman. Prior to the CFTC, Mr. Wetjen worked as an attorney in private practice and then in the U.S. Senate as a senior staffer advising Senate Democratic leaders on all financial services-related matters. He is currently the Head of Policy and Regulatory Strategy at FTX US and a board member on FTX US Derivatives.
