Agents can reach the world but not your file shares. Context LAKE serves permission-filtered enterprise data to any assistant over MCP without moving the files, and reaches general availability today as a subscription service.

fx0 and libfx let agents survive function crashes and persist state across sessions. The architecture separates agent logic, execution, and persistence into composable layers.

The agent spent 11 hours optimizing 205,000 lines of Python. It proposed six changes — two shipped, four were rejected. That 2-of-6 ratio is the real story.

Static API keys are being replaced by identity-governed tokens, but the enforcement moment — the kill switch at the gateway — is still on the roadmap while third parties ship around it.

Two independent infrastructure vendors reached the same architectural conclusion: agents should write code instead of calling tools. The tooling layer is standardizing on a pattern nobody has named.

For the first time, an institutional governance body has taken oversight of the gateway layer — the control plane between protocols — not just the protocols themselves.

79% of companies are adopting AI agents. 2% have deployed at scale. The gap is not intelligence — it is the four-layer stack (memory, execution, tooling, governance) that nobody has finished building.

For the first time, Beijing is proposing outbound export controls on AI technologies, targeting the export of Chinese AI intellectual property and infrastructure. The draft catalogue covers 40 technologies, with 23 targeting the AI stack directly.

ID-JAG is the closest thing the agent economy has to a unified identity protocol. Its current revision expires November 22. No Working Group Last Call is scheduled.
