Meta is collaborating with a Taiwan LGBT advocacy group and a local cryptocurrency exchange to issue charity non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on Oct. 29 as part of the Taiwan Pride celebration.

- Meta, Taiwan Tongzhi Hotline Association and ACE Exchange are set to issue 304 NFTs dubbed “Pride@NFTea” that feature drawings of bubble tea, a signature beverage in Taiwan.
- The project will start the minting process on Saturday with each NFT priced at 0.05 ETH (US$74.70), and the profits will be used for the operation of the LGBT non-profit organization, according to its event page.
- Taiwan LGBT+ pride parade will take place in Taipei on Oct. 29 to celebrate its 20th edition.
- Taiwan legalized same-sex marriage in May 2019, making it the first country in Asia to do so.
