Salesforce Expands Coworker’s Reach, but Its 21× Growth Claim Has No Baseline

Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 connections are available now; Teams and device apps are listed for November. Salesforce’s 21× usage claim has no stated baseline, and the release shows no independently validated productivity result.

In a Salesforce release published on Nov. 4, 2026, the company detailed an expansion of Agentforce Coworker. It brings email, calendars and files around an account with Salesforce data; Salesforce says this context can support a meeting brief or renewal plan. This is a product description, not a measured result.

For an at-risk renewal, Salesforce says Coworker can pull service history, identify unresolved cases, prepare customer follow-up and coordinate supported actions. It returns results and recommended actions for review. It uses applicable employee permissions, sharing rules and configured access controls; approval and audit capabilities are available for supported operations. The release does not describe a universal approval rule for every action.

Salesforce lists Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 connectivity, Conversation History and Skills as available now. The connectors pair account-related email, calendars and files with Salesforce records. Conversation History is currently available within Salesforce, though cross-surface use across Microsoft Teams and new apps depends on those surfaces becoming generally available. Skills turn a proven workflow into a one-line request others on a team can run. The release does not measure whether this makes preparation or execution faster.

Salesforce describes a top seller’s renewal playbook becoming a one-line Skill that anyone on the team can run. The pitch is to make an established routine easier to invoke rather than ask each employee to rebuild steps in a new interaction. The release does not compare outputs across users or report whether Skills make renewals faster or more accurate.

For workers, related account information may sit in email and files as well as the CRM. Salesforce says its connectors can bring the materials together around an account so a meeting brief or renewal plan can draw on more than CRM records. The description helps explain what connections are meant to change, but does not show that a particular team shortened its preparation cycle.

Salesforce lists Microsoft Teams, Coworker apps for iOS, Mac and Windows, a Coworker MCP server and a Flex Credits free trial for general availability in November 2026. It gives no exact day. Salesforce separately lists December expectations: Daily Digest, scheduled tasks and Coworker in the Field Service, Consumer Goods Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud mobile apps.

The release combines a current feature list with a staged roadmap. It does not say that December items are live and gives no day in November for Teams and device releases. Salesforce says availability may vary by region and is governed by customer agreements, and tells buyers to base decisions on fully released and available features. A month-level announcement therefore does not tell every organization when a feature is included in its agreement or enabled for users.

Salesforce reports more than 185,000 users and 21× usage growth over three months. The article gives no baseline, definition or calculation method for 21× and supplies no independently validated productivity outcome. A user or usage count can describe adoption activity; by itself it cannot show how much work was completed, how much time changed or whether a business outcome improved. Those measures are not provided in the release.

Salesforce reports Fulton Bank deployed more than 20 Coworker use cases for about 3,000 users. The release quotes Brandon Bernard, the bank’s senior vice president and sales technology strategist, saying the tool is helping teammates find information faster, prepare more effectively and move work forward. Salesforce says Adecco is expanding Coworker across 40 countries. These are Salesforce-reported examples and do not supply independent outcome measures.

BACA Systems enabled Coworker in an environment with 1,300 custom objects and began using it to answer questions that had required extensive manual searching. The section is headed “Getting started in 20 minutes,” but that is not a measured query-response result. Andrew Russo, BACA’s vice president of business systems, is quoted: “It answered questions that just yesterday would have been 45–60 mins of swivel-chairing between screens and systems.” The comment describes a user’s experience, not a quantified before-and-after study.

The expansion makes Coworker available across more work context now, with other surfaces and recurring-task features assigned to later release windows. Salesforce’s user count and deployment anecdotes show what the company says is being adopted and how customers are using it. They do not establish productivity gains that let an operator compare deployment performance.
