Marieke Flament is a French-born computer engineer and the CEO of NEAR Foundation, a Switzerland-based nonprofit that supports the community and mission of the NEAR platform, a layer-1 blockchain. Formerly the CEO of Mettle, a fintech company, Marieke has also served as the chief marketing officer of Circle, the issuer of USDC stablecoin. She has an MBA from London Business School and a master’s degree in information security from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
