Mohammad Alblooshi is the chief executive officer of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Innovation Hub. Mohammad also spearheads the Venture Builder Launchpad and Dubai FinTech Summit. Previously, Mohammad worked on aligning the DIFC’s fintech mandate with the start-up ecosystem’s needs in the United Arab Emirates, which has led to the introduction of subsidized licensing schemes and a more integrated offering for fintech firms in the DIFC. Mohammad holds more than a decade of experience working with leading financial institutions, such as Barclays, Standard Chartered and Lloyds TSB.
