Lionel Zhao is the Hong Kong-based general counsel of <a href="https://hope.money/">HOPE</a>, an ecosystem for the $HOPE stablecoin. Lionel was previously a lawyer with the global law firm Baker McKenzie, where he represented global funds and consortiums in equity financing. He has also worked as an in-house counsel for China Renaissance, served as an external advisor to the Beijing Fund Industry Association, and was named to Legalband’s “30 under 30" lawyers list in 2019.
