Imgesu Cetin is the founder, CEO and lead data scientist of Defy Trends, an AI and data-driven platform that aims to help individuals and businesses make crypto and NFT investment decisions. Born in Turkey, Imgesu moved to the United States at the age of 5 but went back and forth between Turkey and the U.S., becoming adaptive to both cultures. Prior to DeFy Trends, Imgesu worked as a data scientist for the International Organization for Migration. She has also worked as a research analyst for the United Nations in Iraq. She earned a BS in economics from Bilkent University in Turkey and has a master's in econometrics from U.C. San Diego, where she specialized in machine learning and data analytics.
