Amrit Kumar is the London-based chief operating officer of AltLayer, an execution and scaling layer for blockchains. He previously co-founded Zilliqa Research, where he also served as president and chief science officer. Amrit was a research fellow at the National University of Singapore, and his work has been widely published at such conferences such as PLDI, OOPSLA, ESORICS and DSN. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Université Grenoble Alpes in France.
