Brent Xu

Brent Xu is the New York-based founder and chief executive officer of Umee, a decentralized finance hub built on the Cosmos SDK. Prior to Umee, Brent led strategy at Tendermint. He was also one of the first 30 employees at ConsenSys, where he helped managed milestones including the original listing of Ethereum on exchanges. Prior to entering the crypto space, Brent traded bonds on Wall Street. He graduated from Duke University with a bachelor’s degree in biology.
